Carter County Community Fund grant cycle is now open!

Every day, nonprofits and community organizations are finding ways to make Carter County an even better place to live, work, and call home. Through the Carter County Community Fund, we’re proud to help turn those ideas into action by supporting projects that make a meaningful difference for local residents.

If your organization has a project in mind, we’d love for you to learn more! Grants are open to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charities and other organizations that meet special charitable grant guidelines, with proposed projects serving residents of Carter County, Kentucky.

Applications are due October 1. Visit https://tristatefoundation.org/carter-county-community-fund/ to explore the grant guidelines, learn more, and apply.

And if your organization is newer or smaller and you’re looking to build your knowledge before taking on grant opportunities, join us for our FREE Nonprofit Success Workshop this Wednesday! We’ll talk about grant readiness and what makes a strong application, along with practical nonprofit finance and budgeting fundamentals. RSVP at https://forms.gle/GNxeQTTv2YTiBpoj7

At the Foundation for the Tri-State, we’re here not only to invest in great ideas, but to help local organizations build the knowledge and resources they need to keep doing great work in our communities.

We can’t wait to see what Carter County organizations are working on!
